It's Rut / Breeding Season

Are you afraid to step into your Boer Buck Pen?

This is a easy question to answer here at Cotton Bean Boer Goat Farm. I will without hesitation step into the middle of any of our bucks who are headbutting one another excessively. They will stop and try to walk around me to get back to acting like bucks in rut so we dance for a few minutes. I have been known to bribe them with fig newtons so they stop fighting. We spend a significant amount of time interacting with our bucks to ensure they are tame and friendly. We can also touch their horns without them freaking out and reacting badly. This all starts when they are just buckling!
