What do goat eat? Just watch this video to find out!

Writer: Stacey CarlisleStacey Carlisle

Our goats love walking around in the woods and eating most anything they can reach. This makes them a wonderful resource for clearing out woods that you may own. This area of our property is not fenced in but I would recommend fencing in the area before adding goats. If they get spooked the entire herd will run. For this reason, they may not stay on your land. Yes, they eat poison oak and ivy. They also eat briars and other thorny vines that are taking over your property. You would be surprised how much they eat and fast they clear out an area. Did you know they are closely related to deer?
