twin Mini Nubians. They will be 3 months on August 24th. We have cut their feeding to twice a day and started to reduce the amount of milk they are getting in preparation. Both our doeling and buckling have a super sweet demeanor. Sage runs up and wants to get in my lap for love every evening. She is almost too big to fit now. She is going to be like our Mini Nubian Doe, KC. KC is 18 months and will still get in my lap if I let her. The benefits of having this kind og bond with your goat is priceless.
When our bottle babies have their own baby goats they let me be close without freaking out. This is huge if your Doe has complications or just walks off because she is unsure of what to do. They take comfort knowing you are close and I take comfort in being close during goat kidding.
